 Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
 
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual for this important role.
 
The Clerk is responsible for the smooth running of the Council and, as RFO, for its financial management.
 
The Clerk mainly works from home but must attend evening meetings of the Parish Council approx. 11 times a year, plus occasional additional meetings.  
The hours are 45 hours per month.
Salary will be based on the NALC pay scale LC1 or LC2 (SCP13 - 23, currently, £13.97 - £16.67 per hour), depending on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications in Local Council Administration are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
 
We are looking for someone with a commitment to local democracy, administrative ability, sound understanding of finance, and good MS Excel and Word skills.
